online shopping

There will always be that h&m or that forever21 located at the mall nearest you. The thing is... these places are so popular that everyone goes running to them, and soon, you find yourself wearing the same shirt, the same pants, or even the outfit as the person next you. It's very disheartening especially if you thought you were expressing your style creatively. Don't worry, you most definitely are, but you are looking for some of your garments in the wrong places. This is why online shopping is AMAZING!!

I've compiled a list of websites (mostly the ones i thoroughly enjoy) that sell a great variety of chic, indie, vintage, bohemian, and other amazing styles at affordable prices (except 2 websites). Check them out. I promise you'll find something you'll truly love.

My favorite online store. Like said in the title, it's pretty much up to date with the latest street fashion, something that I constantly keep up with. The selection of clothing is never a disappointment since it covers all types of styles. Please take a peek at this site! I assure you that, like myself, you won't be disappointed too!

2) Asos
This site has to be one of the largest online shopping sites. There is a wide selection of clothes; mostly chic and european inspired. It's also a great site if you need work clothes or if you simply just want to look classy 24/7. Prices range from affordable to very expensive. In all honesty, with the clothes they have there, even if some are very expensive, I would be willing to drop money just to buy some of them.

A british clothing line that's European inspired all around and most definitely chic. This website screams high fashion with its collections reflecting styles present in Europe's fashion capitals. Most of the items are expensive, but still affordable.

This is such a cute website! It contains vintage and indie clothing. A lot of the apparel is either designed with lace, have collars, have ribbons, pastel-ish, etc... you know.. vintage. So, if you like pastel button ups, floral shorts, and long, chiffon, maxi skirts, this is the place for you!

"To rid the world of ugly shoes one pair at a time." I truly believe that statement, especially with Solestruck displaying the most hottest shoes I have ever seen. They really do have a great eye for shoes. Although all the shoes are expensive brand names, do not fear (that is if you are most willing to lay down your money for these shoes). They have brands like Gee Wa Wa, Rachel Comey, Dolce Vita, and more. They are also known for their amazing and wide selection of Jeffrey Campell (my favorite shoe brand of all time).

Here are other websites I encourage to check out.

So no more filling up your closet with just the same brand, okay? =)

happy shopping!

current song suggestion: Architecture In Helsinki - Like It or Not

left to right: guess combat boots, karen millen heels, red
suede heels (forgot the brand), sperrys, steve madden oxfords

I had an amazing time scouting on for shoes this past black friday and the weekend before it. I purchased both the heels from a thrift store that has clothes popping in every 15 minutes. What's so cool about this store is that they choose what kind of clothes to sell. So, if someone comes in with a bunch of clothes, the store chooses what they want from the batch. Most of the store's collection is urban-ish, chic, vintage, bohemian, and classy clothes... styles I ridiculously adore.

And if you must know, the rest of the shoes are from dsw... ah that store is giving me problems right now since it's cyber monday.

miso soup

sweet&sour chicken, chicken w/ cashews, lamb dish, pork dish

please excuse the poor lighting.

Went with some friends to a really good chinese/japanese fusion restaurant for dinner. I had a great time chatting and joking around with them. It was our last chinese cultural organization's social for the semester. Only paid for the miso soup and the crabmeat rangoon = $7.95. Hell yeah. And I didn't have to split the cost of the food from the dishes I pilfered from! Nicceee.

next update: costumes from this past october. sorry for the delay for all these posts.

well, i don't want to wake before the dream is over

steve madden combat boots. urban outfitters floral, crochet tights. forever 21 lace patterned dress. h&m long cardigan. forever 21 key necklace.

A throwback to the beginning of the spring semester after the blizzard. it looked so much like a winter wonderland, that my friend, Gin E., wanted to have a lookbook photo session outside. when getting ready for it, i adored how the fact how this ivory, lacy dress was versatile. it looked elegant, but it could still be fun. not wanting to look classy, i added the combat boots so the outfit could have an edgier tone. thanks steve madden. i appreciate the shoes. because of you, you made those boots my current favorite.

sunset glow

Went to Urban Outfitters this past saturday at the inner harbor with a couple of friends. At first, I was kinda iffy buying them since I already have a cream colored dress (but different style) hanging in my closet and I have a black, quilted bag. But, in the end, i decided to get them. I think they're well worth it (even if they were ridiculously expensive). Can't wait to go back there again.

four pictures above taken by my friend, maggie.
